RRC Controls Services Ltd. was established some eight years ago to provide specialist services to the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry specifically in the field of Subsea Controls
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide an efficient, professional and cost effective service to Clients in all aspects of procurement, installation, commissioning and life of field support for Subsea Control Systems. As some installed systems near and exceed their design lives it becomes more and more difficult for vendors to retain in depth knowledge of these systems. We intend to endeavor to maintain a working knowledge of these systems to complement that which can be provided by the major vendors in addition to keeping abreast of the new technologies.
We are also investing in the development of plug compatible support and replacement items for these systems and for new developments - see our Products pages.
The Company
The Company was founded in 1999 by engineers with extensive knowledge over many years of subsea control systems.
We have been commissioned to perform design and service work for six of the major oil Companies and two Vendors in the UK sector and are involved in several initiatives for the future. We have completed the repair and refurbishment of fifteen control modules from two separate projects which had both electronic and hydraulic problems.
We have also undertaken repair and refurbishment of various pressure and temperature sensors as well as developing and supplying new sensors to ENI for SE Stirling.
We have now completed three years, in partnership with J & S Marine, of a contract with Talisman Energy (UK) Limited for the Maintenance and Support of all of the Companies Subsea Controls Assets and Talisman have recently signed a two year extension.
