RRC has developed a set of interface units to allow communication with a range of third party subsea equipment. As well as interfacing with RRC subsea devices, these interface units can talk to GEC and several generations of Kvaerner modules. In addition, these units allow RRC’s subsea modules to interface with existing surface control systems. |

RRC Interface Units - Salient Data
We have developed three topsides interface products and associated software:- · Interface 1024 – this unit allows communication with early GEC Subsea Control Modules · Interface 2000LS – similar to the 1024 but allows communication with FSSL© second generation SCMs · Interface 3000 - similar to the units mentioned above but allows communication with FSSL© third generation SCMs as fitted in many installations worldwide (Note FFSL is a registered trademark of Aker Kvaerner Subsea Ltd). |
